During these challenging times, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of de-stressing daily. Especially for sensitive souls, our modern way of living (while providing innumerable benefits) can be a recipe for high stress that does not dissipate. Given the year we have had in 2020, it’s incredibly important to make reducing stress a part of every single day to help keep the nervous system as regulated and resilient as possible. De-stressing daily ensures that each day is a little smoother and easier to manage and that when something big happens, you are better prepared. Every little bit of de-stressing you do makes a difference! Even 5 minutes is so much more than nothing. I recommend making it a top priority for the rest of the year and into 2021 and beyond! What is your favorite way to de-stress? Some of my favorite ways to de-stress are:
Dancing to a fun song
Singing
Qi Gong Shaking
Meditation
Walking in nature
Breathing exercises
and of course YOGA!!
